My practice is built on the quiet beauty of Hakomi—a mindful, somatic experience that invites us to gently uncover what is beneath the surface.
Since 2017, I’ve immersed myself in Hakomi as a healing modality. That season of study marked a pivotal turning point, connecting me to the internal landscapes I now guide others through. My formal training in Hakomi began in 2020, and I was certified through the Hakomi Education Network in 2023 after three years of immersive study and practice.
Living in Europe for two years also offered the opportunity to study with some of the most gifted international Hakomi teachers, and I continue to deepen my training to this day.
While Hakomi is the heart of my work, my approach is also shaped by complementary modalities.
I’m Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed through extensive personal and professional study.
I am currently in my second year of Focusing-Oriented Therapy certification - an experiential, embodied practice that pairs beautifully with Hakomi
For me, Hakomi began - not as a professional pursuit, but as a deeply personal one: a longing for greater awareness and a desire to live with more presence and intention.
My first Hakomi experience was rooted in a desire for more awareness of my emotional patterns and reactions as I was navigating early motherhood. I found myself acting and responding in ways that didn’t align with who I wanted to be and it created deep internal confusion and sadness. This exploration began a journey of self discovery that continues today. It has helped me untangle the knots of unconsciously held beliefs and patterns that were no longer serving me. It has helped guide me home to myself.
In 2017, I became a certified yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance, which was a doorway into the Yoga Sutras and Buddhist psychology—and ultimately, into Hakomi.
Before Hakomi, I spent 15 meaningful years supporting immigrants through the complexities of U.S. immigration law—advocating for families and individuals navigating residency and visas. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from a small liberal arts college in Seattle, and my love for language and story continues to inform how I listen and how I hold space.
The Beauty of Hakomi
Whether you are drawn to Hakomi for emotional healing, expanded awareness, or simply the desire to live more fully in your body – you are welcome here.
From my office in Seattle or across oceans via remote sessions, I offer a grounded space for transformation.
“Change is not the pursuit of being different. It is the gift of being more fully yourself.”
