Hakomi.

Where Depth Meets Gentle Discovery.

What unspoken stories might your body be holding?

This is a space to arrive as you are.

Through the gentle and grounded method of Hakomi, we slow down together to listen more deeply.

Each session is an invitation to explore what’s present in the moment—whether a feeling, sensation, memory, or thought—and uncover the hidden patterns quietly shaping your inner world.

Hakomi is a practice of assisted self-discovery.

I guide individuals in exploring their inner landscapes with curiosity and compassion, using the Hakomi Method—an approach rooted in mindful, somatic therapy. Together, we uncover unconscious patterns and beliefs, gently creating space for insight, healing, and new possibilities.

We live our lives forward but understand them backward.
— Soren Kierkegaard

Meet Your Guide

Jen Young, CHT, RYT

My practice is rooted in embodiment and present moment awareness and is deeply influenced by the quiet beauty of Hakomi - a mindful, body-centered approach to self-discovery. I am certified in Hakomi with the Seattle Hakomi Education Network, a Certified Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and currently completing my certification in Focusing Oriented Therapy with the Seattle Focusing Institute. Since 2017, I’ve immersed myself in this work in my own personal practice and through formal trainings both locally and abroad while living in Europe. My approach is also shaped by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Focusing Oriented Therapy, two complementary somatic methods that center embodied mindfulness and deepen inner clarity. Together, these practices create a layered, compassionate, and intuitive space for healing and exploration.

About Hakomi

Hakomi is a mindful, experiential approach to self-discovery—an invitation into presence. Rooted in deep listening, it honors the body, emotions, and inner narrative. Hakomi reveals new possibilities, more freedom and space from our fixed identity. We access the body as a doorway to these hidden ideas, rules and also the healing wisdom that lives within us.

From this gentle unfolding, insight and transformation naturally emerge.

In a session, we attune to your subtle signals—a gesture, a sigh, a tension held quietly—allowing what’s been hidden to surface.
